Call Me Sunshine Wheatgrass Moonstone

If you think that this recommendation is going to be all flower power and free love, you are going to be disappointed. I have an issue with places that market themselves as a utopia, a place free from worldly problems. It’s why I instantly recoil at any mention of a commune, it’s always a lie, and Ullara is no different.

Six Cold Feet by Josh Donellan is described as “a fiction anthology podcast about music, mystery, and the places we escape to when the real world disappoints us.” The first season is about a man named River, who’s sister, Harmony, went missing.  River documents his search by creating a podcast, like The Box or Archive 81. As River’s search continues, you begin to learn more about his life and how he and his sister came to Ullara. There are hints throughout the early episodes that let you know that something isn’t quite right about River’s life in Ullara. Utopias always have a dark side hidden under the perfect facade.

Season one of Six Cold Feet finished February 2, 2018 with 10 episodes. Each episode is around 20 – 25 minutes so it’s really easy to binge listen.

Once I started this audio drama, I couldn’t stop until I finished all 10 episodes. The writing for this podcast in incredible, you will love every single second. I cannot wait for their next season.
